Neat kit but ultimately failed to do the job for which is was designed
Didn't work. Despite following the instructions only 3 of 8 plugs expanded inside the door. The rest with a little pull you could easily withdraw. I went through the packet trying to get them all to expand and realised I wasn't going to have enough to finish the job at that rate. I considered using a bigger screw to force them open a bit further, but I didn't have any bigger (6.5+) that short (<40mm) and we are getting into quite a big head size for a towel rail. I'd go for those toggle style expanding anchors next time. Additionally should you get them to work they have a lip that stands quite proud so I had to cut a countersink on the back of the piece to achieve flush fitting. Final fit could still be easily pulled out by hand and was reinforced with a big squeeze of instant grab adhesive.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No better than a standard rawl plug in my view?
I had expected the rawl plug to open out inside the hollow door to provide firm anchorage for the screws but they don’t appear to open at all. Admittedly the main problem is the shoddy quality of the door but I’ve wasted money and time on buying & installing rawl plugs which don’t do any better a job than the standard ones I already had.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ok for hooks
Used this to fix loose door handle screws. Trouble is screws are not long enough to pull plug in so it grips. Back to square one. Make sure your screw is as long as the plug. I wouldn't recommend to fix door handles in hollow doors.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

They don't work....end of story! What a pity ...on paper they should, but in practice there a bust. Sorry guys, but thats how it is.
