Good idea, poorly executed
I'm a baldy, and when it's hot I suffer inside a crash helmet on a long ride, with my scalp becoming damp and then sore. A friend gave me a thin cotton skull cap he got in Australia which was a revelation - worn inside a helmet it completely cured my problem. So when I saw that Alpinestars made something that looked similar I jumped at it. Sadly it's not as good. It does prevent most of the chafing I suffered without anything, but although they claim flat seams these are actually significantly ridged and actually press into my scalp, leaving red marks after a long run. The cellular nature of the material also traps air and makes it warm and sweaty, when what I want is cool. It wasn't cheap, I expected better.

Great skull cap
I’m a motorcycle tech for Suzuki. Have been doing this for the last 20’years. This is by far the best I’ve ever seen or used. Really good fit and nice and fine material so doesn’t crush your head with the helmet on. Smashing accessory.
