No use at all
No problems with the supplier who provided excellent service. The book itself however is a total waste of time. A coin 'handbook' should provide a clear, convenient and readily accessible body of information with relevant illustrations, and perhaps an indication of rarity and/or value. This book does none of these things. Coins are categorised in groupings which mean nothing to me, and are listed apparently haphazardly. the same coins appearing in different categories. Illustrations appear random with no effort to list all the types of coins for any given territory. I was left bewildered. In my humble opinion coins could have been conveniently listed by country/territory/ruler giving dates of issue and the denominations issued with selected illustrations/descriptions of the main types, and an index for cross checking. Some indication of rarity or value would be expected. As a collector wanting an introduction to Greek and Roman coins, this book is useless.Verified purchase: Yes
