Years of good service
I've had them for years, and just ordered a new one. Unfortunately it came broken. I would recommend getting one in the store if you can. The heat is quiet, and takes the chill off the house nicely. It's good for those times of year when it's not that cold out. otherwise, you have to supplement with some other kind of heat. They are very economical though. It saves on your total heating bill because you're not running a blower.

Wow!!
This thing has transformed my cold bathroom into something a actually look forward to going into. It's been costing around $1 a day to leave it on all the time. A lot of ppl spend more per day than that on things that don't bring nearly as much comfort. If it's cold it might take a day or two to get the bathroom up to temp, but it's only 400 watt so I'm not expecting real fast temp changes. I've got a towel rack above it and it keeps my bath towel dried out and warm when I want to use it. Probably the nicest thing is not freezing getting out of the shower and the mirror doesn't fog up anymore. I leave the bathroom door shut or almost shut most of the time. Balanced Heat for Pennies
These products are well made and economical. By purchasing 5 units and placing them in strategic locations in a 1800 sq ft home we are realizing a constant balance temperature of approximately 74°-77° from room to room. The initial cost of these units will be offset by not needing to purchase over priced propane for the main heater on the house. With 5 units X 400 watts per hour = 2000 watts per hour and you are heating a minimum of 5 areas instead of 2. The wattage cost is about $.04 per hour. Thus $.04 X 24 hrs = $.96/ day per unit and that is if you leave them on all the time. Once you reach a balance temperature your home should remain in a constant state given your insulation quality.
