Not worth bothering with
I fitted this to my 06 ford focus tdci 1.8, there is definitely an increase in power. But fuel economy is no better than the standard car without the tuning box. I tried it on all settings filled the car up with diesel and noted milage at the next fill up and on some settings it's actualy worse. I followed the instructions (simple) & noticed the extra power imediately, I seem to be getting slightly better mpg but I am tearing around getting the feel of it . I mainly bought this because I tow a caravan and I normally find myself crawling up some steep Devonshire hills , so now I should be able to hold my own. I told my insurance company and they raised my premium by about £100 , I am not bothered about this as it seems a small price to pay for a car that is much more responsive than before. I find myself not having to change gear all that much as the power comes in at much lower revs and pulls away with no turbo lag. I take roundabouts in 4th gear with no labouring and you can feel the push in your back when you put your foot down. I asked my local mechanic if there were any downsides to fitting this box and he has not come across any problems with them. I would certainly recommend this ad it's great value. Easy to fit. Better mpg (if you don't rag it everywhere), and it puts a smile on your face. My car was 173BHP , now it's 224BHPfor an extra £100 per year - bargainVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Power chip boost promise
Gave the power boost promissed and now I have what it takes to get ahead in the road. Greatly reduces the turbo lag and the extra power means it can pull in top gear from a much lower speed. Mileage was already better than Ford said but no decrease either with the added power now available. A system that is simple to fit and gives great results even with a high mileage power unit.
