Beyond expectations
You never know quite what you're going to get with something not previously tried and tested, but this coffee maker exceeded expectations, particularly in the cappacino department: the automatic frother is a joy to use. I was hoping for something semi-professional, but of course you can't get this without spending big bucks, so the espresso coffee from the coffee house across the road was too fine to be pushed by the pump, but ordinary Lavazzo is perfect. The quality of the finished product is the closest I have tasted to coffee house cappucinoes (how DO you spell that word?!) Buy with confidence, at this price I don't think you can better: a great automatic system, manual if you want and a very impressive cup warmer which really does the biz. Looks great too. Looks good and brews coffee that is just right for me, nice and strong. The milk frother is great and gives a nice thick froth almost as good as the coffee shops. Quite a sizable appliance which is great as it looks like its built to do the job. You need to switch this on and let it warm up while you are grinding your coffee and then it will brew to the right temperature. Excellent one cup machine...
This machine is excellent for making any type of coffee. It is a 'one cup' machine but I like this. I use ESP pods which work well with it and saves any 'coffee ground' mess. Milk dispenser is efficient (the 2 'O' rings whereupon it fits need watching and replacing periodically to maintain an good seal with Milk or steam spout.
