Overall a great controller, beautiful and well built
I like the new design a lot, and I wanted an Xbox One controller to use with my PC, so I got this over the regular one for using it over bluetooth. The packaging is really nice, the slanted box and how it opens, it's very nice. The color is bluer than it looks on pictures. it's not a bad thing, but be warned. It's more smurf blue than baby blue, which is what I thought. Still, it's very well built and the materials are good, a pleasure to look at. I had some problems while hooking it up over bluetooth because I have an old dongle that's probably 2.0. Also, I didn't know that in theory the BT connection doesn't work well with more than one of these. Keep those two things in mind when considering these for a PC. So even with these details, I'm really happy with the controller. It's a nice upgrade from the Xbox 360 ones I have.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

longievity questionable.
I love the Xbox controllers its one of the main reasons I have an Xbox, but I am a serious gamer i.e a lot of hours and I seem to go through a new controller every 8 mths to a year before the the thumbstick breaks down and stops working properly. Beautiful design and great to play
This controller feels slightly different than a regular XBox One controller but in many ways, is even better than the traditional controller. The buttons stick out slightly more which makes them easier to use (especially if you wear a sticker/skin over the controller). Poor quality
I bought this in hope that it would provide a reasonable affordable version of a controller. It does not. The buttons are unresponsive and the joysticks have no play like the original Xbox controllers. They make aiming on any shooting game very difficult. Linux Compatible!
I don't usually bother writing reviews but I'm delighted with this. I mistakenly purchased a standard Xbone controller before this, for my PC, only to discover that it did not work with standard bluetooth but instead required the eye-wateringly expensive official wireless adapter (separate product). You can buy this newer S model plus a £3 micro bluetooth dongle for the same price, with the added bonus that you don't have to put up with a giant adapter sticking out of your USB port. The controller itself is top quality, sticks are smooth as silk, I love it. I also have a Steam controller which can sometimes be easier to set up via Steam Big Picture, but you can't play twin-stick shooters with it because of the right touchpad. NOTE: it requires bluetooth 4.0 (2.0 will not work!) For Linux users, there is a tweak that will fix the repetitive connect/disconnect problem but it won't allow me to post it here so look it up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I bought the controller for my boyfriend and he is very happy with it, I bought a red one since it his favourite colour. Terrible!
Literally unusable device. The analogue sticks moved on their own from the moment I plugged it in. Literally spinning around on a FPS cause the analogue sticks don't center properly. Does the job
