Terraria is an independently developed game that mixes the mining, crafting, and day/night cycle elements of Minecraft with the exploration and action of classic 2D games like Metroid. Once players head off on their adventure they will battle dozens of different enemies, dig through soil and rock to find items and valuable resources, and build custom houses, villages, and even castles. Gamers can then buy or sell items with NPCs that move into the newly designed buildings. There are three different difficulty modes, and multiplayer fans can join their friends for co-op action.

Classic game play for the casual and hardcore gamer.
A very flexible game in that you don't have to invest a whole lot to still have fun. If you want to get deep in it, no problem. There are a ton of secrets, items to acquire and levels of game play to attain to. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!

exactly what my son wanted
I bought this game because my son loves it. We have had it before but it keeps getting stolen. It is one of the few games my son likes to play that isn't one I get upset with him playing and keeps him out of trouble for long periods.

Older version but holds up
Ive always loved terraria, the 360 version is where i got my start in the wonderful adventure. Although the xbox one and PS4 versions are way ahead, and the 360 version wont be getting 1.3, version 1.2.4 still is pretty fun. Grinding end game on the frost and pumpkins moons are still a blast.

Fun game
Similar to mine craft, but more of a game that is 2D. Its a side scrolling game with online documentation and community. Turned the kid into a zombie and he loves being a zombie!
