flexible mounting
It's a strong piston, certainly no problem holding the door open in high winds, conversely opening the door a crack in a tight space will be a bit of an issue - just something to watch out for. I chose this one over the others types where the piston could only fit in one orientation. I ended up with the tub bracket upside down compared to the door bracket to avoid the door hinge bolts. It took some playing to get everything lined up how I wanted but I'm very please with the result.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
