I have been using this type of lumbar support in the car for a few years now and it is very useful for my back. You can also take it out easily if you want to during the journeys. One warning: be careful not to sit on it because its shape is going to change and it is going to be less efficient in supporting your back.

I used this for driving when sciatica reared its ugly head. The build quality is rather low and one of the fabric straps detached from the wire frame. I did not find that it offered mush support for a person of my size- 6ft and 12.5 stone, but it might be suitable for a smaller person.

Bought for car as have bad back but unfortunately not robust enough to support my back. May well be suitable for other makes of car. Quality isn't bad it is just a bit lightweight

I really have found this helps my back and it's so cheap compared to others. If I need it to a little firmer, I pop a small cushion behind it and it still holds it shape. I'm very pleased and I do recommend it to others. My hubby steals it and uses it on his gaming chair as he's sat on that more than anything at home. I may have to buy another one. I have seen a much more expensive one at my friends work place and to be honest, the only difference is the elastic on it was tighter. But on the bright side, that allows me to pop a little cushion for the days when my back is really bad and I need a little extra support.

Light & portable. Helped on a long car journey. Did take a while to find the best position for it & also I found you do need a cushion behind it to stop it collapsing inwards
