    Very responsive, quality feel

This is a fairly powerful phone, great touch screen, apps work really well. Not too impressed with this version of Android. I have had to download snapseed app to get decent photo editing. Also Open camera, as the camera software is annoying and fiddly. I prefer to take quick shots and then tinker with them later. I suppose it takes time to get used to different software. Generally very pleased though. Quality phone for a little over 200 pounds. It just 'feels' good. Battery life not that bad, but I know there are better. I might invest in a power-monkey or similar, for trips away.

    HTC One M8 phone.

I bought this to replace my original HTC M8 which had become slow due to memory shortfall creating slow response. The new M8 had double the internal memory so I was confident that it would give a few years of service. However within a few months the battery life was severely reduced and the battery would go flat mid afternoon even after being on charge all night. It's a great shame as the M8 was a nice phone. As the battery is hard wired into the phone it is not easy to replace. So it's been pensioned off and lies on a shelf. I have replaced it with a Samsung Galaxy, battery life is much improved

  • Good second - hand inexpensive smart phone

It has the same features as my last hTc but less worn out. Which means i can start using it right off.

  • Great under rated high end smartphone

Great value flagship, lovely build quality, and actually a better phone than the M9. Average battery life the only real downside.

  • A gem of a 'phone, much ignored at the time.

A very capable and underappreciated 'phone, which can be upgraded with XDA developer custom ROM firmware. Great sound reproduction with quality earphones, or via the stereo speakers.

  • Great phone but not suitable for others. i like it.

good phone, i like it but may not be suitable for many others. every body's needs and wants are different. I recommend you buy that phone you feel suits your needs.

  • LIke this phone

Had the HTC M8 before and got on really well with it, everything to hand and is slightly smaller than some of the newer phones Has a good quality camera, and sits easy in hand no sharp edges and not bulky...

  • HTC One M8

have had the HTC Wildfire, Desire and now the One. It is a competitor to the IPhone and Samsung out there. having had HTC before, the improvements in the One are obvious. Of course it is now 3yrs since the launch but I am not that serious about the latest mobile stuff anyway. The supplied phone is unopened and immaculate. Recommended.

  • A pleasant surprise!

Having tired of both apple & Samsung, I had a HTC one recommended & what a winner it is. It beats both of the main players in certain features & is a joy to use
