Independent lab review desired.
French Maritime Pine Bark Extract is rated highly here because of its price and probably quality. Since I take several supplements, it is hard to tell which is helping the most. What I would like to see is an independent comparison of this supplement with the patented, expensive pycnogenol done by ConsumerLab or some other independent lab. If this is rated at only 50% of the effectiveness of pycnogenol, that would still be a bargain for the price. Make sure you only take ONE DAILY.
They recommend one daily, I was having such positive results I upped it to 3 times daily. But found after about a month I was getting TMJ and my jaw was hurting and I was getting very Dizzy as well. Pros: I feel sustained alertness without jitters from coffee. Memory is better; both short term and long term. Love the way my skin looks! Cons: Can keep me up (but not like caffeine). Blood sugar can dip too low if combined with ginseng and alpha lipoic acid or if I wait too long to eat. I take ginseng in the morning now and pycnogenol in the evening--now that I know I can sleep through it. Sleep well with vivid dreams, 8-10 hours on it.
