Convenient and Practical Card
I am reading more and more about ticks with Lymes disease in the countryside causing long term health problems. So I am pleased to find a quality credit size tick removal card that I can carry around with me in my wallet. This way I don't have to remember to pack it or be in the position that I have left it at home somewhere when it's needed! Highly recommend this card, if you have a memory like a sive, like me. The card comes with an easy to understand coloured pictorial discription with text that clearly explains how to use the card if you are bitten or find a tick on someone else. Looks to be useful but not tested in the field yet.
The product is as described - a fairly sturdy credit card sized tool but, as with most of these types of gadgets, the proof of quality and suitability will be when it comes to being used to remove ticks. Only after this has been done will its effectiveness have been tested. Looks the part!
This is I believe as developed in conjunction with medical experts on the subject of Ticks and the dangers of Limes Disease.. While I have not had the need to test it in the field (so to speak) it looks the part, clever bit of kit that even includes a magnifying glass and came with great description on how to use, along with some information on Ticks. Light and very easy to carry... Certainly gives me peace of mind while riding my off road bikes in our local forests, where we have large Deer Herds rooming!! Effective tick removal.
So helpful. This card works so well. You can get right into the place where the tick meets the skin and pull it out without the head coming off. I used it a day after it arrived to remove a tick from my two year old's armpit. Thankfully not had to use it yet! However, it is compact and well designed and easy to carry. It has two sizes of tick-insect removal one for adult ticks and one for immature ticks. I don’t usually leave reviews, but feel I have to this time. Such a great addition to a first aid kit! The Best Buy I’ve bought in a while.
