Sony Excellence
Simply the best tablet I've owned this been my 4th, even though it was released a couple of years ago it's still far superior in every way to the competition, I owned a Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 10.1" previous to this which had a slightly sharper display but the Xperia Z2 tablet far out performs it in performance with a nippy smooth interference that has never stuttered or frozen once. Sony's update policy for their devices is also second to none after receiving the tablet and first booting up the device updated incrementally from Android kitkat 4.4.2 all the way up to the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. (Here's hoping for Android N update with its split screen features.. Perfect for Xperia Z2 Tablet!) Casting video and media from the Z2 tablet to a Dnla device like a smart TV also works flawlessly which isn't something I could say about my previous 2 Samsung tablets which had nothing but bugs and compatibility issues, not so with the Z2 it just works. Signal strength and data speeds are excellent on both 4g and WiFi infact the 4g signal strength is always 1 to 2 bars better than my S6 smartphone both devices using the same Giffgaff sim provider. Battery life is fairly good lasting 2 to 3 days normally depending on usage but for some bizarre reason Sony ditched Stamina mode with the Marshmallow update and Marshmallow doze mode just isn't as effective at reducing battery drain when the device is idle as Sony stamina mode did so here's hoping it comes back in future updates. I casted a 1hr 55 mins movie from my Z2 to my smart TV by the end the Z2 had only dropped 6 percent in battery pretty good. All in all I would highly recommend the Xperia Z2 tablet it's still an excellent performing device which has dropped down to an acceptable price now due to it been superceded by the Z4 tablet which is still way too pricey for my wallet at present but definitely on my wish list when it comes to updating from my excellent Z2.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Superb light weight tablet
After trying many different brands I have come back to this one, it works seamlessly is extremely light and the screen quality is great. Large, unusable border on screen!
Too many Xperia apps, some can't be disabled only deleted. Regularly corrupts sd card and after 2 or 3 months it does not detect the card and the computer doesn't detect the card. Good camera, nice videos, nice video creator.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
