Juicebar slightly squeezed
I was looking for a cheap, no-frills, small portable speaker and wasn't sure what to go for. I tried a few at Currys and Tesco, including KS, Cube, LG, Sony and a few unbranded ones. I noted that the cheap end made some rather tinny sounds, and some were poorly manufactured.
I tried the juicebar too, and liked the sound, considering its small and portable size. I was on Ebay one evening and found it at half the price of a retailer, so it made sense to grab one. I'm happy with it for the price, size and quality. All things considered it was a great find and a great buy. If you want really good sound then you need to pay for it, (Sony and Bose) but to fill a 7m X 7m room with sound, then it's pretty good.
Build quality is good. The battery seems to last about 5-7 hours, and if not used it holds the charge very well for at least 10-14 days. Possibly longer, as its used on a regular basis.
Charging is straight forward and relatively short, and it can be used while charging. Easy to pair, and find on my Bluetooth enabled devices, so no connection issues that I've come across.
It comes with a small carry pouch too, handy, so it isn't scratched in your bag/case, and charging cable (usb).
