The silence is golden
Bought this to replace our noisy bathroom extract fan and it lives upto its name 'ghost' as it is very quiet (on slow speed), easy to fit and looks good. The only thing I had to change was the cable inlet hole, as on my old fan the cable came in at the top left,(moving the cable was not an option) so I had to drill another hole in order for the cable to fit, which wasn't a problem as there was space next to the small circuit board for this. Problems with Xpelair Fan
Having fitted the fan to our shower room and had it tested it worked well, within 2 days I found that the fan ran constantly 24 hrs per day, the electrician returned and had to remove the faulty Humidistat, I contacted E bay and asked for a replacement component and have had no response, the very reason for purchasing the unit from what I believed to be a reputable manufacturer was to autocratically control the humidity in our shower room. Really quiet
