If you want CLEAN FLOORS WITHOUT THE WORK, This IS the PERFECT FLOOR(MATE) CLEANER!!
I love this Hoover! It is so easy to use and cleans exceptionally well. I have the displeasure a residing with a mechanic, so shop dirt and grease grace my floors on a daily basis! As well as a dog that misses the mark on a regular basis! This floor cleaner made quick work of both and all else, easily! I am so grateful for this offering and this company's ingenuity. You very well saved my back from dumping bucket after bucket after bucket of heavy water, not to mention I believe I only used 3/4 of a gallon with the Floormate...TOTAL!! Since I didn't have the Hoover solution at hand, I used an inexpensive dishwashing liquid and filled the cap only half way to avoid excess suds, then added 10 shots of Awesome from a spray bottle as a guaranteed grease remover. I went over my floor thoroughly only twice and I only had to refill my homemade solution twice as well for a really good initial scrubbing. Each full tank lasted about 6+ minutes considering I employed BOTH solution triggers during the process. The suction is superb as well. A quick rinse in the sink under the faucet or sprayer cleaned the debris from the spongy filter and I rinsed the dirty water intake path/shaft for good measure. To finish, I filled the solution tank with plain water just to remove any residue/or haze from the chemicals. Each and every time the dirty water was clearer and clearer. To dry, I chose to turn on the ceiling fan as I washed and I never had to use the dry cycle. If this one dies, I have to have another IMMEDIATELY! I am truly considering purchasing a back up just for G.P. because I can't live without it now and I won't go back!! I regret the years I mopped repeatedly to pain and exhaustion, especially after TWO car accidents in less than a year! If you insist on having squeaky clean and bright floors like I do, It's a guaranteed winner, so get you one and you'll rave about it too! Take your chances- 50% chance won’t work
I purchased 2 of these, understanding they were refurbished. The first one, worked great. I purchased exact same model as a gift. Let’s just say the mess it blew when the power button went on, was an even bigger mess to clean. If you’re a gambler this is a good item. For the rest of us, don’t take your chances. Hoover on dust
My house was full of dust on tile floors because of a dirt backyard and a doggie door. There was no way to keep the place clean until we put rock over the dirt yard and used the Hoover to clean the floors. It worked well, needing only one refill to go over the floor twice (1000 sq ft). Had one before but this is better.
I purchased a vacant house with cement floors. I'm not ready to cover them yet and it is so nice to have the Floormate and know that it has done a great job of scrubbing. What this little machine pulls out of the floor is mind blowing. This powerful little unit will deep clean your floors, then leave them dry and clean within the time it takes to get the mop and bucket out. The slower you go the more it cleans up. Scrub away

Hoover floor mate
If you think that this machine is going to make your floors sparkle or look like new, think again. It does do an adequate job of cleaning, evidenced by the dirty water you empty.
