Trickling water without the need for wires
We've had our solar powered bird bath for a few weeks now and we're pretty pleased with it. We also have another bird bath which most birds seem to prefer, perhaps because there's more space for them to flap about. We think this one looks very nice and it made a lovely birthday gift for my wife. I saw the funniest thing the other day when a robbin clearly thought that the ducks had spent enough time in the bath, and tried to scare them away by hopping up and down on the edge of the bath, flapping its wings! In response to another review, I would consider covering up the solar panels if we're away on holiday, so it can't run out of water and to avoid the motor to burn out. The solar feature only works when there's plenty of sunlight and, unless it's really sunny, both solar panels need to be exposed and in the light - if one panel is on the shade it doesn't work as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Needs a sunny day
Will literally only work when the sun is shining. If a cloud passes or your hand moves over the solar panel, it stops. Doesn't store solar power. Never mind it's a lovely water feature. Love this bird bath
I had this bird bath bought for me for my birthday by my husband. It looks lovely in the garden and Im very pleased with it. The solar fountain works well and provides an appearance of rain coming off the umbrella.Its good quality and fits in well with our garden. Works in direct sunlight
I love this water feature. The only thing I would change about it, is if it would just store the energy like solar lights do. If you so much as walk past it and block the sunlight access from it, it stops. Cloud goes over? It stops. Apart from that it’s such a pretty looking feature.
