Well designed
I bought the food processor attachment after the small chute and plunger on my previous model broke apart and fell into the bowl whilst in use. My sensible head told me to buy a new chopping blade and chute plunger but the design of the new model caught my eye. In comparison, it is much easier to use; There is no annoying hole in the top of the chopping blade for fine particles to fall into, preventing the pin in the lid from going down and the lid from closing; so the lid goes on easily and locks without effort. The ergonomic handle feels good and makes it easy to remove the bowl from the machine. There is a variety of separate discs which are covered with grating holes, not just 2 rows and are used on the high speed outlet so your carrots are shredded so much more quickly than the older model.. the slicing discs work well too.
My only bugbear is that the bowl is really difficult to remove from the high speed adaptor despite following instructions in the book, so Kenwood are aware of this. It still took me 15 minutes to get it apart from the bowl.
