I use the take on my salad boxes to stop my lettuces being eaten. Works very well although a word of caution, when applying to any container be aware that the edge if the tape is razor sharp. I found out the hard way

Since I didn't want to resort to killing slugs that are devastating outdoor potted plants. I had high hopes for the copper tape. The tape took abit of care putting onto tapered pots, as it was a lot thinner than I expected & tore quite easily if you didn't take your time. Although it looks nice on the pots, unfortunately that's where it's usefulness ends. Plants are still being decimated:(

I really didn't expect this stuff to do much, to be honest. Articles online suggested it would be more of a mild deterrent than a true barrier. However I was pleasantly surprised: I coiled the wire around a pencil to make a more solid defence and laid it around my ravaged peas, pegging it at intervals. Not a nibble had been taken out of any of them since! Astonishing difference! It's important to make sure there are no gaps under it and nothing to bridge over it or the slimy enemy will have a way in. I pegged mine on flat bare earth with no nearby plants that.could provide a way over. All I can say is; worked for me!

Never used it before but fingers crossed no more slugs where they shouldn't be. Adhesive is very good and sticks to brickwork and concrete which is great.

I used copper tape buying usually from pound shops. Not stocking it this year and it's so expensive in garden centres. So I browsed on line and am very happy with my purchase.
