Heals Esophagus
My esophageal problem was due to accidental ingestion of a chemical. I took two tabs of this formula at night before bed to protect the esophagus. I slept on an incline using pillows to prop my torso up above my waist to help keep acid down at night. I also took 1,000 mg of Apple Cider Vinegar capsules after meals which stopped silent reflux as my problem was not acid indigestion but normal digestive juices from saliva irritating my throat. I also took Sea Buckthorn caps 2x a day and 2 DGL tabs after meals as well. I chewed Juicy Fruit gum and drank half aloe vera and half organic apple juice to keep my throat lubricated. I was on a mostly organic vegetarian alkaline diet but ate fish and some cheeses. Within two weeks my throat was pretty much back to normal. It had taken me months of trying slippery elm, marshmallow root, D-Limonene, Manuka honey. etc. You name it, if it was in the internet, I tried it I was also taking Gaviscon Advance which has alginate in it that coats the stomach contents but it also contains aspartame which is not good for the kidneys if taken long term and strong peppermint which can irritate (or numb) the esophagus. So I decided to try Esophageal Guardian because it had natural ingredients. When I didn’t take EG at night my esophagus would be irritated in the mornings which I’d notice especially after eating my breakfast and lunch but would calm down throughout the day due to the ingestion of DGL and ACV. I highly recommend this product. It’s more expensive than Gaviscon Advance ( do not use regular Gaviscon as it has no alginates and contains aluminum) but it’s worth it. Improvement and slept through the night
I take a PPI and H2 blocker and was still having issues of acid reflux at night, usually around 2am. My Dr. recommended I try this product in addition. It works well most of the time.
