The Faithfull Plumber's Soldering Mat is a high temperature, Asbestos free protective heat mat for plumbing and soldering applications. It is ideal for DIY and light trade use, including soft soldering and most plumbing applications. The heat mat withstands temperatures of up to 550¡C and will provide protection to surfaces against burn marks and heat damage. For best results, the flame should not come into direct contact with the surface of the mat for prolonged periods. If the surface of the mat begins to glow it should be moved slightly so that the flame is redirected to a previously unheated area.
