The plug did the job, but I had to use an extension cable to adapt it as it would not fit in to the socket on the back of my equipment. The quality is OK, but the size is not fully in spec.

Fine if you don't mind making your own cable grip.
The cable grip is made of a brittle material similar to poor quality circuit boards. Snapped like a biscuit as soon as I tried to secure the cable. If you want a safe connector and do not want to have to make your own cable grip, this is not the product for you.
