I have used Sorbothane for years and bought these for a family member to try to see if they would help a foot issue. They are definitely helpful. Remember to remove the original insole from your shoe before you put the Sorbothane Double Strike in. They have very good shock absorbancy.

Very thick insole, fits best in shoes that are quite roomy in the first place, but excellent for absorbing shocks from high impact exercise.

There are softer insoles than this, but they tend to work on the theory of equal and opposite force. These are meant to dissipate the shock laterally. After two knee ops close together 5 years ago from running , I have not had any aches since starting to use these. Seem to work, so I am reluctant to change. In addition I have heard of sorbathane being recommended by those that work in physio and orthopaedics.

These are excellent insoles. I use them in my run shoes by replacing the insole inside. The comfort and support for running is superb
