HEKO wind deflectors are designed to improve driving comfort in any weather. They are aerodynamically designed to reduce wind noise while channeling airflow to keep interior free of smoke. Notes SALOON.
Great Quality Part. Fits snugly on W202 Saloon. Install with care and patience.
Great Value solid product. Worth fitting on the W202. I advise patience and some caution in fitting if you are to do it yourself as a novice. Below are some guidelines but not wholly necessary to fitment. Refer to manufacturers website for detailed video if in doubt.
This is information I have collated, only follow at your OWN discretion I take NO responsibility for any damages incurred and use common sense.
Roll down required window and gently wipe clean surface area of seal with alcohol wash only and microfiber cloth.
On the deflector peel small amount of adhesive tape accessible to you so that it hangs out towards you over the deflector, (only pulling and peeling remainder tape once in location).
For the front window work in the top left corner first virtually in full position, then at an angle work in the right side of deflector into the groove between outer seal near the wing mirror, only when both sides are in gradually work from the left side and push the deflector edge into place. Be careful to not crimp the outer door seal above as this will not allow you to close your windows after and you will have to start again.
Once you have worked the deflector into place firmly push UP into place. The deflector is rigid however by working the part into place from one end that is already in the corner you are allowing yourself some flexibility. Finally push up the right side and once tucked into place gently pull back the adhesive tape to secure.
Then add clips with indent facing inwards to vehicle to interior seal face. Push all way up utilizing a THICK flat head screwdriver if necessary.
The thickness of screwdriver should fit the gap in the clip only about 2-3mm, this will allow your windows to close securely. The clips themselves are quite hard to push in but once aligned a firm push will give you a good seal. Be careful not too push too excessively and feel the clip into place as to not damage the deflector. The clip should be fitted into the most straight edge of the deflector and not on a curve.
When inside the vehicle, then close windows up gently, as you reach the deflector you may have to inch the window up slowly and guide it by pushing your palm on the glass window itself as you go up, noting the gap between the clip, so that it can sit between the clip space.
Be careful as to not trap your fingers, and only push window as you are inching it up. This may require several attempts and do not use excessive force.
Once UP, leave them up remaining closed for period of 24 hours atleast. This allows the seal to form and bed into this new location position.
After that period, you may have to re-adjust deflector as necessary if you find the windows are not still fully closing. The reason they may not close is either the deflector has not been pushed up as far as it should go, you can tell this by looking at the outer shoulder of the deflector on the outside. It should be up close against to the seal outside ALL the way across the entire part.
Another reason could be you have crimped the outer seal upon fitting. To fix this simply remove clips, and pull down where the seal is crimped by gently tugging the deflector down allowing the seal to work itself free. Be patient and do not tug excessively only the amount required to for seal to free itself into position.
Another reason could be the clips are not inserted the correct way and / or not pushed as far as required.
The above is only a brief explanation and I cannot take any responsibility for installation, seek professional help if in doubt.
However, I did personally find these easy to install as a novice with some experience on fitting and vehicle maintenance.
The product itself lives upto expectations and is the best quality on the market in my opinion and looks great on the W202, and furthermore actually does what it supposed to do!

I haven’t fitted them yet but, did purchase a, set of front ones (same make and, they are fine , so it follows that the rear ones will be the same , they look and feel good quality .
I have something similar in my van and thought would add them to my c240, they fit nicely in the window and look great but unfortunately my windows wont close with them in the channels, and broke when I tried removing them.
They may be ok if you have a hand wound window and not electric, if Mercedes do them. Unfortunately for me these were a waste of money.
