    Excellent solution.

    I wanted to change to chrome caps after changing to a chrome towel radiator but retaining the original valves. Problem is that valves have various cap fittings. These adjust to any spindle size and skirt diameter. They were a bit fiddly to fit but once in place they are totally satisfactory. Far easier than changing the valve.

    Look okay but not for turning valve off

    They look okay but would not want to use them to shut off or adjust the valve they do not lock well onto the valve. As other have said they are expensive for a bit of chrome coloured plastic. Having said that I could not find alternative chrome coloured valve caps and wanted them to match the chrome bath radiator. Existing coveres had "pitted " so these are an improvement in looks and as I do not adjust the valves normally they will be okay.

    Great idea just does not work.

    If you have the standard flat blade on the valve the only way this cap works is to clamp onto that valve using the screw at the top to create the clamping force. However the screw has a soft head with a brand new bit you will round it off before you get enough pressure onto the clamp to hold this product in place. Given this it remains loose and flops about. The only way is to glue it on with epoxy which again struggles with the polyethylene that the inside of the cap is made of. It looks good as long as you don't touch it.

    Loose!!

    In total I paid £13 for the pair. I expected it to be a bit better quality. Unfortunately it fits loosely on the standard 15mm radiator valve I have. It looks nice with the rest of the Chrome radiator but as soon as someone touch it it will get detached!! Not impressed + The Chrome colour is plated on plastic cap so its definitely not worth the price!

    Great idea, poor product

    The jaws can't grip the spindle with enough force to hold this place, so it rattles about and ultimately falls off. Pity, as it's a really good idea, it just doesn't work. This needs to be metal, not plastic, and for 7 quid a pop, that should be more than achievable.

    Extremely flimsy.

    I should have taken notice of other critical reviews. These are very flimsy and next to useless, unless the valves you are attaching them to are extremely loose. They need some metal components to be useful. A waste of money. I should have bought some simple caps.
