This would be awesome if the scent lasted longer!
Bought as an everyday fragrance for myself. When you first put it on, the scent is absolutely gorgeous and divine! It is better than being in a rose garden! But it is let down by the fact that after only about half an hour there is no smell of it on the skin 😢 So I would love to give it 5 stars but for that reason cannot. It is a very pleasant fragrance but no one has commented on it and I can only be aware of it myself if I sniff my wrist. I have used different yardley perfumes over the years, and never really been disappointed in any of them! But I think English rose is my absolute favourite, it has a clean fresh summer feel to it, and also reminds me of my lovely Mum! Soliflora rose. It's a fresh, green rose. The musk in this is a bit synthetic and screechy, which make me not want to wear it that much.
