Excellent model Tiger II. Functions great right out of the box. Even thought it has a lot of metal, there is still plenty of plastic to work with for customization and upgrades for really serious modelers. As a so called painted figure this lease quite a bit to be done. When I used to be able to paint figures, I took in the need for detail, such as shading , blending of colours, this figure does neither, simply a painted figure of mediocre quality, look at the face and the eyes will scare you the uniform is just painted black, no attempt at shading the face is just painted pink with badly painted eyes, for the price of these figures I would expect moreVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Torro's Sherman M4A3
On my particular model on close inspection everything was working perfectly. I replaced the battery with a more powerful one ( but that was my personal choice the original is adequate enough ). It is well put together and very strong the detail is excellent, way better than the run of the mill stuff. It weighs in at 14 kilos I think with all its metal content which gives it a different feel than plastic ones. I personally have found it an excellent working base to take the detail to a different level as modeller's do. I ran mine outside to test it and of course it came up to the task impressively. There's the ancillary stuff to put together m/c gun etc. and decals to apply if you want the basics. I think personally its very good value for money and a little bit more buys you the IR version with barrel recoil. So in a nut shell stop thinking about it BUY IT I doubt you will be disappointed. Torro KV-1 Full metal version
Heavy! The general standard of build was up to what l expect from Heng Long, which was a little disappointing for the Torro price but the metal chassis with torsion bar suspension, once adjusted correctly, makes the difference. Given the need to open the tank to refresh the battery, smoke oil, get to the smoke switch and volume control, l redesigned the interior moving all switches and refill pipes to the rear (which can then just be propped open) and added a charging socket over the gears. Adding the two spare track links gives the track the realIstic sag over the return rollers and then its just a matter of detailing things the way you like it. Great spec. and still far cheaper than the Tamiya! John
