Flexible but strong
Hi All, first the bad news on this rod, it is more flexible than they imply. No idea how bad the original none plus was but for carp it could do with been a bit stiffer. The good news is, it casts a waggler with ease, despite been doubled over with 10lbs + carp the rod hasn't snapped. And believe me I have been snapped on 6 lbs line and this rod has stood it all. Playing fish up to 5lbs would be its best role it does have a very nice soft action for the 2 to 3 lbs fish and it does cast very well indeed. Overall have given 4 stars but if your carp are more towards 10lbs get something stiffer. Also appears to be nicely put together with a soft and comfy cork handle and the eyes are nicely whipped onto the blank. Should last years.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
