Better to buy more expensive cleaner
I think these have been around since I was a boy in the sixties but I am not very impressed with it. It does not clean so well and does not last long. Been around for years and still do a great job.
These have been around a long time and I have always found them very effective. Sometimes they can dry out though even when new and that is when you get the shedding of the lint that people mention. For these to perform well you need to slightly dampen them with a few drops of water (even from new) and then they will work like a treat. My only complaint is that they have got smaller. They used to be twice the size of this when I was a kid but nevertheless they are still a great way of keepng records free of dust.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Restore that vinyl lustre
The Calotherm cleaning cloth is a clever piece of Hi-Fi kit. Its not always about the price of your turntable or what stylus you use. At the end of the day, its all down to the condition of the recorded source and the level of dirt free and static free that you can achieve. Great product and very reasonably priced too. Does the job, but with limitations
The cloth was dry, and had to be re-activated with water. It would have reduced drying if the cloth was supplied in water-proof material, instead of lightweight cardboard. The cloth also left lumps of fibre (from the cleaning cloth) on the record surface. However, the cloth did clean the vinyl, and appeared to be anti-static also.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
