TRUE to originial texts
Dr. Macarthur is gentle yet absolutely committed to the unbiased and correct translation and transmission and explanation of the Word of God. Short of a full commentary, this Bible with its notes is a vast and nearly complete volume to answer and expound on most Bible passages and makes the difficult ones very clear. Defines much of the original texts and keeps the user's eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. It is not too difficult for a beginner or too easy for the seasoned Bible student. I will never "grow out of" this Bible. Print is easy on the eyes and, since it is a hardback, might need a protective carrier or cover.
