Quality, powerful magnifier.
Surprised at the optical quality. This is a chunky lens with good edge to edge rendition and fair depth of field for 40x. Comes in a practical case and has very reasonable led lighting although I have not used the uv led much it seems to work just fine. One little grumble is the twin pronged key supplied to open the battery compartment. It is made of soft metal which collapsed totally when I tried to open it. Optically very good. Lights don't work well on mine.
This is very good for examining fine details not visible to the naked eye. Lenses seem good quality. The lights are not really necessary for me, but the light switch on mine doesn't work properly and seems not so well made. It is possible to get the lights on by manipulating the switch. Excellent for identifying skin lesions
What a wonderful device, you can use to look at skin lesions under the White light option, or check the validity of bank notes with the UV light. Bigger than normal lens so you don't have to get too close to your object. All folds away neatly into it's cover then has a substantial box also for protection. Prefect eye glass that helps also detect fraud
This is my third purchase of these very special jewellers eye glasses with the two white and one blue LED, the glass is of good magnification and the white LED lights help you see under difficult lighting but the blue LED light is special because it works at a very special light wave frequency that allows the user to detect and see any fraudulent changes made to money or as recently found out fraudulent changes made to jewellery too. Good enough for the price
