A nicely produced replica of aviation history
A good solid model in 1/144 scale (ie quite large for a diecast), generally very good in the detailing and livery of the airline, in this case British Airways. For such a well-produced model it is let down by a few small details. It misses the tail forward facing aerial/probe (which oddly enough appears in the cover illustration; the support mechanism on the stand that engages with the plane is Ok but has a bit too much play in it, the decals for the cockpit windows are not angled correctly, the upper and lower moulds don't quite match leaving a ridge where the two parts join, and the closed front undercarriage doors have a couple of odd flanges. Despite these minor defects it is a good model and nicely presented.
