Iqool install
Iqool24 Installed & working on 20Aug 2019. Great heat pump. Two insulated 5mtr copper tubes with flared ends and two quality elec cables supplied - also spare water drain tubing. Kept drain tube in original position & mains supply through same hole. Initially offered up to mounting plate after again checking how to release it ( make small angled tool like a shortened angle bracket or cut a bracket and test it works BEFORE fitting bracket to wall) Rotary Isolator fitted One meter cut from each of supplied 5 meters copper tube. Nitrogen charge released from both tubes of precharged indoor unit as ends removed. Two flared ends carefully made fitted and leak tested after releasing outdoor unit charge.( 5mm hex) Torque figures are listed in the manual but I used 36-42 lbsft and 10-13lbft using a 50 lb rotary luggage spring balance on 10 inch adjustable wrench with a ring end. See youtube videos on aircon & flaring. Also Quora (google it) No vacuum or pressure test made (not recommended to omit this- but this is second installation I have successfully done and my first is still going well without leaks or recharge 12 years later) but unless you are an experienced engineer get an Fgas pro in for final flare,torque and vac test.This will benefit the warranty. It's too easy to fail making the connections with the smaller& flimsier (liquid) tubing. Base supports- used 1mtr plastic bracket - SB1000 part R605- 210 from Fixfirm- cut in two Bought locally (£12) from Fixfirm but Speedyfit Flexyfeet (£45) are really good as are their other kit.( ebay). App works fine and is superfluous to operation but the scanning & set up was not too easy - but neither was it difficult as long as you are App & IT savvy. Achieved Temperatures on 23.8.19- at 21 deg ambient:- Cold temp at louvre 9 deg Hot temp at louvre. 31 deg. Final- your only worry should be achieving a good sized smooth clean flare and applying the correct torque. Review wouldnt accept link I put in for buying bases.

Great air con system.works very well in my large conservatory
Great air con system.works very well in my large conservatory, heating or cooling. Fairly easy to install although the instructions are a little confusing and the print for the circuit diagram is too small and cifficult to make out. I had to study it using a magnifying glass before I realized the mains supply whent to the outside unit and not the indoor unit. The app was a little confusing getting it to work on my Iphone but once connected, it works well! Very happy overall.
