It could run a bit smoother
It turns at a nice pace and it supports quite a few AMPs of power...enough to fill a tree with lots of lights. The wire management could be a bit better. Rather than pigtails, just an outlet would have been nicer. There is a switch at the base for the rotation motor, which is good. There are times when you don't want both the lights and the motor running (eg. while decorating the tree). It would have been nice to have a switch for the lights too, since often the outlet plug is hard to reach behind the tree. I got a remote control switch that has made that easier, but it was one more thing to buy. The motor rotates the tree at a nice slow pace but it sometimes isn't as smooth as it could be, so some of the ornaments begin to swing a bit. When I take it apart, I'll look into lubricating it and see if it's required. That might smooth out the rotation movement. It's very quiet and surprisingly stable. Artificial trees only. There is no adjustment for the trunk of the tree. It's one size, so you might need to wrap it with tape or something, if it's a smaller trunk.
