Fantastic Little Radio
Present for my none techy dad to take away to his caravan which has no phone reception at all! But he set it up no problems and the DAB radio has a great signal even there. The sound quality is very good too. It also looks very nice, good quality, I was worried it would look plasticy but not at all. Some issues
This radio does have good sound quality, however, there are a number of issues that may be relevant before choosing this product. I now have 2 of these radios, and the issues are the same on both. The general build quality is OK, rather lightweight with cheap feeling buttons that do not have a positive action. The digital display is breaking up a bit, leaving a horizontal line across the middle. Only some of the radio stations can be stored, and despite the option being shown in the manual and on the screen, it is not actually possible to change the date from American to UK format (ie to have day/month/year). I wouldn't want to pay full retail price because of these issues, but at a big discount, it makes a good radio for a kitchen or workshop etc. For much better quality, take a look at the VQ Hepburn - same excellent sound quality but without the glitches and a much better build quality. The only thing missing from the Hepburn is a remote (though you can use an app on your phone with the Hepburn Mk 1, but not the Mk 2).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Christie DAB Radio
Not the easiest of radio's to use, but once you get used to the buttons everything becomes a lot easier. I have placed the radio in the kitchen under a kitchen unit and thought I would have problems with the sound quality, but it is excellent no issues. Nice up to date retro radio, has a nice feel to it. Like the display easy to read. Not good enough
Sound quality is ok but as said in reviews it's hard to get the volume right it's either too low or too high no in between also it's a bit fiddly when changing stations no very user friendly and quite slow in doing so. Very good all in one package
Item arrived in short space of time and I must admit it was nothing I expect. Everything worked from the start and sound is really good. My dab reception moves a bit but when it works brilliant and the Bluetooth smooth with my phone connection and to top off it charges my phone too. Sound quality.
By far the sound quality is excellent and enhances the listening experience. The quality is so good it's akin to having a portable music system at your disposal. I'm delighted with my radio and have ordered another. This all stems from renting a property for a weekend which had a VQ radio in the kitchen. I was so impressed by it that I bought 2.
