All That!!
I spent a small fortune buying seperate requirement to give my bird the goodness that he needs as opposed to sunflower dominant foods. I used to travel to Preston to get him a varied diet, I ran out and my sister bought a 2kg bag of Johnson & Jeff premium fruit when I opened it I couldn't believe all It contained, it wasn't cheap but still worked out cheaper than how I'd been sourcing. It bursts with fruits and nuts there's pine nuts almonds melon pineapple my boy loves it, I still give him fresh fruit and veg but thats part of his cooked dinner and when I give him his dry food I know he's getting variety and vitamins, I dont feel guilty I know its all goodness, and I have a African Grey I've gone out of my way, from day one to give him all the colours and textures I could, as opposed to fearing all colours and being a poor eater due to sensitivity and fear as stated in books about greys. It is the only food I buy, and a good on line relationship with my supplier. Best mix for African Grey and Goffins Cockatoo
I have been using this mix for the last couple of years as the basic diet for a 21 year old African Grey and 14 year old Goffins Cockatoo. Both birds have enjoyed it and eaten it well despite being slightly selective eaters.Even my one remaining Red-rump Parakeet enjoys treats from it. The high fruit and nut content - walnuts, etc, not just peanuts - seems to appeal and it and it is colourful without being full of colouring. Good choice
Many times I have bought parrot mix and felt there was very little in it for my grey to eat. This one is loaded with fruit and plenty of nuts. I could have bought there cheaper brand but think this is worth the extra money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
