A Trike cover thats worth a look
Well, this has been a fun little purchase. I will admit that I have a garage in the house , but it has been converted to a utility room and so I decided NOT to get my big trike, however, I did in the end get a middle sized one and so we are now going to convert the utility room BACK into a garage and for the time being, we bought this just to keep the rain off the trike.
I admit that I wasnt expecting much, but in all honesty, Im very impressed... More than I thought I would be if I am honest.
Absolutely I will add, that time will tell. There is a chance that in the next day or two, it wil develop a small rip that will expand and make the whole thing useless in just days, but so far so good.
I have not even fixed it to the floor either yet, and thats a typical me thing, however, as much as it looks suspicious,it was only today that I went to the builders yards and ordered some wood to make as a base for it, and I have opted for 8x2" so, nice and thick wood, and as I said its a temporary solution even though I should really use paving slabs to screw it down into, I think for my needs, the wood will be more than adequate.
The trike I am covering is a Harley Davidson XL1200C with a reliant rialto based back end, and there is tons of room. Perhaps around 8 inches either side of the rear wheels, and when reversed in, it more than copvers the handlebars which are ape hangers, plus the mirrors.
Tonight, I rode it in forwards and it fits forwards too, but I had to position it much more precisely than I need to if I just reverse it in.
In my opinion, this is one of the best purchases taht I have made in a fair while, and its not even fully up yet? - I still have to fix it down and then add the 2 bars that hold the back up, so after that, I should think I will be even happier with it
