The BEST Godzilla statuette I've ever seen
I am so very excited and happy with this Godzilla figure. There are many out there, and I've always been a fan of the original 1954 Godzilla far more than any other. But this particular iconic pose, seen so frequently in posters, of Godzilla eating a train, is beautifully sculpted. It comes in several parts: the body, legs and hands are all one piece. Most of the tail is separate and needs to be snapped on, which is no small feat, but once connected it's nearly seamless. The two train cars that connect the one in his mouth and the one in his left hand then snap into place. And you're done! I'm really crazy about this piece. It is huge and needs a healthy amount of shelf space, but can easily be enjoyed from any angle in a large room. I would say my only complaint is that his eyes are too faded (at least on the piece I received), and could use a little brighter white in them. I would highly recommend this figure for ANY person collecting Godzilla, or who even wants at least ONE representation of Godzilla in their house. (Whose wife won't divorce them afterwards, anyway!)

Godzilla '54 was a cold-hearted killer!
This highly detailed rendition really captures the ferocity of Godzilla '54; it's a cross between the puppet and the suit used in the first feature film. No dumb-looking expressions here :)
