F plug to TV "FLY-LEAD"
Well where to begin....
Like most people, out there, we have various tv/video/satellite/audio connectors that we retask to use with modern equipment.
That's me.
I use F-plug (satellite TV) connectors because they are robust, and the bloody dog or cat can't pull the cable out, just by knocking it (unlike terrestrial TV sockets).
So.. in my setup, I use F-plug faceplates for my TV. And somewhere along the cable I would either cut the cable and fit a coaxial TV plug.... or, buy an adapter to convert from F-plug to Co-axial.
When I saw THIS advert (and I admit I didn't read it fully), I was in heaven... a ready made cable which has a F-plug on one end, and TV Co-Ax on the other... yay, I couldn't wait to hit that PayPal button.
Roll on a week or so later, and it arrived.
I ripped it open to survey my wondrous purchase, to gaze upon this abomination ( lol ).
That "thing" stuck on the end of the cable... was ugly. If I wanted that, I would of bought the adapter for less than a pound (gbp) and fitted it to one of my myriad cables from the heady days of being a Sky TV subscriber (now long gone).
So, to recap... Read the advert fully. It's not always what you think...
