Smart, lightweight and durable
Chose this for greenhouse to replace old wooden shelving. This material will be durable and will provide steady surface to work on and will not rot as we have found with wood. Have to decide to bind the two together to give a wider work surface but will leave that until we see how effective we can work on single width. Easy to assemble and good value for money. Will take the weight of most medium weight pots (around 3-4 kg max) but avoid really heavy items, particularly on top shelves (the manufacturers themselves give this warning with the assembly instructions). Easy to put together. They are reasonably sturdy. I wouldn’t put any heavy plants on the top shelf! The metal shelves are a little flimsy and a little bent when they arrived so I have attached with wire to stop them moving around. That works well. They look good.
