gorilla hook
these hooks are good for what they are.I am a scaffolder and a gorilla hook will normally last me about 2 months. The springs go on them. It is a common fault.They are made from tough plastic which so far has never failed.The only weak point is the hinge. This will fail and snap. It always does.I have had about 6 gorilla hooks and they all fail the same way.
