Great thread for Sahiko and Boro
Sashiko Japanese Embroidery is new to me, so I can only speak about my own experience, I wanted an authentic thread so the finish would look as near to traditional Sashiko as a newbie can manage. It's soft ,beautiful and looks lovely when stitched onto indigo coloured fabric using a traditional pattern. If I can only get my stitches uniform I will be a happy crafter.
