IDF Comando Style Boots. These boots are made by Kibbutz Dafna, Located in northern Israel, which is the main supplier of these type of boots to the IDF and around the world. Dafna Shoes was founded in 1964 in Kibbutz Dafna located in the Upper Galilee to produce shoes and sandals to the IDF as well as civilians when importation of such goods into Israel was very limited.

Fantastic boots!
I've recently climbed on the 10,000 steps bandwagon, and quickly discovered that my current stock of footwear wasn't up to the task. I recalled these, having seen them years ago, and set out to find them. I did- and they're perfect. Lightweight, comfortable, durable, and stylish- they're perfect. They're the first pair of lace up shoes I've owned for a while and I was a bit concerned about lacing them up every time I set out- but it's nothing at all. I'm putting 30 miles a week on them and they feel fine.

Tough, Strong Material. Comfortable and lite weight. However, 2 of the lace eyelets are coming out after wearing 2 times. Still, a Good, Hot Weather Boot. Comfortable when riding my motorcycle.

Dafna boots by Naot are the best of this genre.Very lightweight and stylish but tough where they need to be.Easy to put on and take off which can be a problem with other companies versions of these boots.
