I have not used it yet. It didn't come in a Briggs & Stratton spark plug box and neither did it have RJ19 written on the spark plug like the original one did. However it arrived one day earlier than expected!

This is a genuine item, it is required for the Briggs and Straton 450 series engine which is fitted to garden tool such as lawnmowers. The spark plug should be gapped at 0.03 for the engine to function properly. If you suspect that your engine requires a new spark plug (runs poorly, misfires, etc.), you can clean the carb and change the plug as a first instance, this would solve the problem in most cases.
