In search of the best product............ 4 1/2 stars
This is a good product with an aluminum handle and it uses almost any plastic bags. The down side is the scoop is made of plastic and has a small opening. If you are cleaning up after large dogs, (I have 2 Dobermans) that opening could be larger for the size and amount of solid waste being collected. I have concerns about that plastic ring being easy to break off from the end of the handle. (I also use another brand scooper that has a larger collector bin, is easier to use but is entirely made out of plastic, and that brand has broken because of the plastic but I still purchased another one because of the size of the bin). This scooper does not include any little rake or pusher either. It is good, it could be better, I do use this as well as other brands because I'm still in search of the best and most durable scooper. Works for me!!
This does work and is an interesting concept. Good way to recycle bags too! I like that I don't have to bend over like I did when I used a shovel. And that the poo goes in the trash instead of a corner of my yard. I am very happy with my purchase. A little too expensive and a bit uncomfortable to use in my opinion.
I think this was too expensive unless money is no object for you. Also, if the scoop part would tilt back a little bit when you scooped, it would be easier to use and way more comfortable in my opinion. Trying to scoop holding the pole straight up and down is a bit uncomfortable for my wrist. I like the way the bags attached and the telescoping pole though.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
