FlorastorMAX is the best....
This is the best probiotic out there to offer. I’ve had problems with my digestive system for years, I took fiber, prunes, suppliments, other brand pro biotics... nothing worked. Got to be good!
I have a friend who works in a very special probiotics firm. It's a firm that actually does individualized tests on subjects, and for a few hundred dollars, customizes a probiotic that matches the stomach enzymes of the individual. He originally turned his nose up at store-bought probiotics. However, when he realized the strain utilized in Florastor, he agreed that it was "a good one." I'm pretty oblivious to my body. I can rarely notice any difference with the many, MANY different products I take. (I'm REALLY into food supplements!) However, I do have confidence in this product simply because I have great confidence in the source that (albeit reluctantly) admitted that it IS a good product. Florastor is the gold standard of this type of probiotic
Saccharomyces boulardi is a yeast-grown probiotic, unlike all others, which are bacterial. Florastor has been around over 40 yrs. and in my experience is MUCH more potent than other reputable brands. Many hospitals use this now for patients on antibiotics. It not only survives antibiotics, but can stop dysentry caused by them, and also prevent that and other side-effects of antibiotic therapy-including c. diff. I used another brand when I had an infection severe enough to require months of i.v. antibiotic use. It was not helpful. At the urging of a naturapathic dr., I switched to Florastor and within 12 hrs. my symptoms had resolved. It is also useful for re-regulating your intestines after long use of laxatives. I always keep some around in case I need to go on antibiotics, and these packets are a wonderfully way to get a high dose at a much lower cost. I recently used these 3x/day for 2 wks. that I was on antibiotics-and I could not afford to do that dose w/pills. Best for use with antibiotics
I was first told to use Florastor by my doctor's APRN when I was going on a course of harsh antibiotics. Wow! What a difference it made. Florastor powder does not dissolve well
The powder form of the Florastor did not work for me. It does not dissolve well and stick to the glass so you end up drinking half of it and wasting the other half. Plus it is flavored which was not a plus for me. Going back to the other form of Florastor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
