Takes 10 steps to start. Not good for me.
None of the advertising mentioned the 10 steps required to activate the step function. I purchased product because I wanted it to count every step. It does not. Seems like all of the current ones work this way.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Useless item!
First off, this pedometer is too bulky. It cannot be clipped on to your clothing without weighing itself down. Way too heavy and bulky for a pocket AND in my pocket it did not count steps!! Clipped onto my waistband it did not count steps. Clipped onto my shoe it did not count steps accurately, although it did count a few hundred and I walked three miles. Maybe it got tired. Clipped onto by bra it counted a few steps, unacceptable. Thought I got a bargain by getting two of these pedometers for the price of one but, boy was I a fool. This item does not do what it is supposed to do and is not a reliable way to calculate steps or miles or calories.
