Lotus Grill
This did all that it says on the box- it really does become ready to use after lighting the fuel but dont forget to switch fan on. I have even used other charcoal which is much cheaper but had to break it down to a suitable size. No need to fill central basket if you are just doing a quick and simple BBQ for two or even four- three quarters full is fine. The only bug bear is cleaning - better than a normal gas grill but the grill still needs a wire brush and a pan scourer (Wire gets trapped under centre disc) and outer bowl needs a good degrease with kitchen paper and then a good scrub etc. Too big to go in dishwasher normally but can be done if nothing else in. Fantastic!!!!
This is the best barbecue I've ever used. It really lives up to the claims made in the advertising blurb - in 5 minutes I was cooking a variety of kebabs, burgers and sausage, really impressed with the ability to instantly regulate the heat, and it uses very little charcoal . It's not too big or heavy, ideal for camping. I like the design, easy clean stainless fittings, and would seriously recommend it to anyone thinking of buying one - you won't regret it! Quick and easy to light
I watched a live demonstration of the Lotus grill and was most impressed so decided to buy one. The grill comes in it's own carrying bag and is very portable. From lighting to cooking takes no more than 5 minutes which is much quicker than a disposable bar-b-que.
