A treasure for knitters and Barbie doll fans
This is the second purchase of this book. The first time was 15 ya when my kid was small and I was looking for ways to engage with her toys. When she lost interest in dolls, I gave it to someone else, but now I find I still love making doll clothes! So I bought another copy. The scenes of Barbie in her knit outfits are set up so cleverly. The instructions are easy to follow. The various projects use a variety of stitch and construction techniques so skills can be honed. I have substituted other yarns, such as left over sock yarns, with excellent results. I found that both the hardcover and paper bound versions are sturdy and easy to hold open if needed.
